The Servo Lab unit offers cutting-edge technology in the maintenance of multi-brand servo motors and spindles.

In addition to professionals with experience in the industrial maintenance area, this unit has a large and sophisticated repair and testing laboratory, with full support from Leme Motors' engineering sector for carrying out scheduled (preventive) and corrective maintenance.

In order to extend the service life and reliability of servo motors and spindles, the Servo Lab unit adopts repair and diagnostic procedures within the specifications of each manufacturer. Therewith, it is possible to determine, through a rigorous analysis, the condition of each equipment in order to carry out more targeted and, consequently, more effective intervention actions.
TEST AND REPAIR LABORATORY

The LEME MOTORS laboratory offers a modern structure and cutting-edge technology in the multi-brand maintenance of spindle and servo motors. Before starting any type of repair, all inspections and measurements are carried out in order to check the state of the equipment and, later, we prepare the Technical Report based on the failure report generated. All procedures are carried out efficiently, as they follow the factory's technical standards, which guide more targeted actions and help in a more agile, assertive, and good quality maintenance.
ENGINEERING DEPARTMENT AND CUSTOMER TECHNICAL SUPPORT

Our Engineering Department and technical staff are made up of certified professionals with extensive experience in the area of industrial automation and maintenance. In addition, our team is highly trained, including training with world-leading automation and energy manufacturers in Germany, Italy and France.
Our company provides 24/7 technical support to all our customers.
There are several factors that may affect the service life of your servo motors: deterioration, wear and tear, exposure to dirt, soot, oil/grease, humidity, operating temperature, general use, and more.
All defects found are reported to the customer and a technical failure report is generated and forwarded with the Repair Proposal
Below are some of the malfunctions that are frequently encountered:
- Broken cover, bearing or connector;
- Damaged cable (which causes voltage spikes);
- Deformed retainer (which causes loss of sealing and allows internal contamination - oil inside the engine);
- Brake contaminated by oil or dust (brake is an important safety item);
- Parameter loss / feedback positioning error (causes vibration);
- Among others.
REPAIR PROCESS

The following procedures are performed:
- Electronic feedback test for diagnosis, repair or replacement (it may be an incremental/absolute encoder, resolver or hall sensor);
- Analysis of the motor coils (resistance between them), with high precision digital equipment;
- Disassembly, cleaning, and drying of pieces and the stator;
- Electronic manufacturing of new coils;
- Rewinding;
- Impregnation of the coils with varnish and polymerization in an oven with electronic time and temperature control;
- Tests of insulation parameters;
- Inspection and repair of the rotor magnetic circuit;
- Measurements of all mechanical interferences, with metrological control of seals, covers, shaft, etc.;
- Metallization, machining and balancing of the rotor;
- Blasting of pieces;
- Replacement of bearings with an inductive heater;
- Electronic feedback adjustment (incremental/absolute encoder, resolver and hall sensor);
- Dynamic tests via software and on dedicated jigs (closed loop);
- OEM painting or according to customer's request.
